Now this is a great piece of software if you want to get a scaleable site (Care2 uses Gallery 2.0 to host over one million photos) up and running fast. It allows you to maintain a community of users each with albums of media (videos, audio and image) and other downloadable files and has a host of features to cover everything a CMS should. It's nicely laid out and easy to use, features support for streaming your media and loads more not mentioned here - well worth checking out. Dutifully there's also a Drupal module for Gallery 2.0 integration.

There are lots of nice templates available too including some which scale down really nicely when Gallery is integrated into another CMS and surrounded by boxes and other containers. Be sure to log into the CVS to get the latest designs.
