A file hosting service which provides a customisable widget you can put on your site that lets you share files with anybody as well as providing instant previews of images and music. The files reside in your Box.net storage area, which gives 1GB of free storage and more with paid plans. As the widget owner, you can also upload files through the widget, without having to go to Box.net.
DropSend helps you do two things, email large files (up to 1gb) direct from their website or just store your files online. A free account gives a single user 250mb of storage space and a maximum of 5 sends per month. Paying for upgrades to your account will give you more space and increase your send allowance. A business account is also offered which includes support for up to 100 users, 250gb of storage space and allows for branding of your DropSend site area.

No ads too, as it's supported by donations.
Streamload is one of the more prominent content hosts out there. It offers up to 10gb of storage space and a whole host of other features such as audio/video streaming, photo albums, send files person to person and the ability to send out email links to your files.
Cool, quality content host for again, optionally anonymous uploads of larger files - up to 1gb! They scan for virus' too.
myFileStash.com advertises itself as a place for (a small amount of) free image hosting and file storage, "You get 25 MB of free file storage & 2,000 MB of monthly data transfer for all sorts of file types". However "due to misuse of the uploader, the .RAR, .WMV, WMA, MP3 and .MOV file types are no longer allowed". They also run a few 'free stuff' offers, including the opportunity to double your storage space.
