SimplePie is a very fast and easy-to-use PHP class for reading RSS and Atom syndication feeds. Built with beginner programmers in mind, the system is billed as being "dead-easy for PHP beginners to be able to pick it up immediately, [while still providing] greater functionality for the more advanced PHP coders."
